“Motherhood is the greatest thing and the hardest thing.”

I'yonnie, your Humble Takeover is your story. How has Motherhood impacted your life and your story? 

Motherhood has shaped me to fearlessly go for everything I’ve always wanted. My life changed tremendously when I became a mother because I had to quickly adjust to my new normal and  realize, immediately,that it wasn't about me anymore. My brand is based on my son and I want every mother and even those who are not mothers to feel and look beautiful always. 

What lessons have you learned from being a Mother?
The main lesson I’ve learned is how to be patient. Motherhood definitely requires patience.

What advice would you offer other mothers who are writing their own stories while balancing motherhood?
Develop a system and know right from the start that it won't be easy but you can do it. Your child comes first and we always need them to know that they come first no matter what. Each day, whenever you get free time, even if it’s only 30mins while they’re napping, use that time wisely! Get done what you need to get done! Effective time management is the most important factor when writing your story.
